About Tyler

I am a California native and passionate about all things health, wellness, and performance. It wasn't until I found myself working on a cherry farm in New Zealand (2015) that I knew I wanted to satiate my curiosity in the mind-body connection as it relates to sport. This past December, I earned my M.A. in Sport Psychology at Fresno State. It was under the tutelage of wonderful professors - Dr. Wade Gilbert, Dr. Jenelle Gilbert, & Mr. Tim Hamel - that I was able to merge my education with my passion for ultra-endurance sports and create The Resilient Athlete.  Currently, as a community college instructor, I have the good fortune to share the wonderful lessons that I learned while working with athletes via sport psychology consulting. So far, it's been a wonderful journey and I am excited for what lies ahead. Onward and forward
